Digital Subtraction

DSA 8/54

DSA 8/54 quality assurance phantom is designed for the constancy testing of Digital Subtraction Angiography systems.

The DSA 8/54 consists of a moveable PMMA insert with aluminium strips for the simulation of blood vessels. The motion, carried out during exposure, is operated via an attached pneumatic hand pump.

DSF Set

A set of four test objects, the DSF set is supplementary to the SFS set of test objects and checks those parameters which are particularly relevant to DSF imaging.

The kit consists of:

TO J3

Log/Linear subtraction ADC and DAC operation

TO Q3

Dynamic range of imaging capability.

TO 20

Threshold-contrast detail-detectability

TO D3

Systematic mis-registration artefacts

TO DR

These test objects are designed for systems which operate by sensing mean signal levels, the TO DR tests dynamic range by measuring detail visibility over a wide range of input X-ray intensities. Different designs cater for subtraction and non-subtraction systems.

TO DSA

The TO DSA phantom is used for quality control testing of the image quality performance of digital subtraction angiography systems.

TO DSA enables measurement of:

Video system stability

Dynamic range

Spatial resolution

Contrast (iodine) resolution

Contrast uniformity

Contrast linearity

Spatial uniformity

Mis-registration artefacts

Motus Motion Platform

The Leeds MOTUS motion platform is a compact programmable motion arm ideal for introducing motion to your quality assurance testing to overcome the limitations with static testing of dynamic systems, especially where complex image processing is applied.

Features:

Programmable Z-axis motion (speed 0 – 7.5cm/s, distance range of 5cm)

Maximum error in timing of 1.4%, typically within 0.3% of intended

Tilt legs to introduce simultaneous Y-axis motion

Clamp to affix Leeds Test Objects phantoms (dependent on weight)

Mains powered

USB interface

Start and Reset buttons

Stores last program uploaded

Free software

Benefits:

Dynamic image quality scoring

Digital subtraction image quality

Pixel shift testing

SFS-2

A set of test objects designed to be used quickly and easily to provide an ongoing check of imaging performance, particularly those aspects which are most liable to deterioration. An ongoing record of these numbers will reveal any trend towards deterioration in imaging performance.

Set includes:
