TO CTDI

TO CTDI permits the user to measure the dose index for computed tomography systems. The test object consists of two PMMA cylinders, one cylinder represents the head (160mm diameter) and the other represents the body (320mm diameter).

TO CTDI enables the following tests to be made:

CTDI100 (centre)

CTDIw (weighted CTDI100)

CTDIvol (weighted CTDIw)

TO CTDI is heavy and as such is provided in a tough case with wheels and telescopic handle.

TO CTDI Plus

TO CTDI plus permits the user to measure the dose index for computed tomography systems. The test object consists of three PMMA cylinders, one cylinder represents the paediatric head (100mm diameter), the second the adult head (160mm diameter) and the other represents the body (320mm diameter).

TO CTDI plus enables the following tests to be made:

CTDI100 (centre)

CTDI100 (peripheral)

CTDIw (weighted CTDI100)

CTDIvol (weighted CTDIw)

TO CTDI plus is heavy and as such is provided in a tough case with wheels and telescopic handle.

Quattro

QUATTRO is a programmable 3-axis respiratory motion simulation phantom comprising a
motion arm and semi-anthropomorphic, tissue equivalent chest phantom and software.

QUATTRO enables three simultaneous types of motion:

Vertical motion for breathing surrogate motion
e.g. reflective block on Varian RPM

Horizontal motion for inserts within the phantom to be imaged/treated
e.g. simple ‘tumour’, TLD/film dosimetry, PET ‘lung’ insert, etc

Twist motion of the horizontal insert providing continuous rotation enabling different outward and return path for simulated tumour inserts.

Features:

Programmable Z-axis motion (speed 0 – 7.5cm/s, distance range of 6cm)

Maximum error in timing of 1.4%, typically within 0.3% of intended

Clamp to affix cylindrical inserts

Mains powered

USB interface

Start and Reset buttons

Stores last program uploaded

Free software

Semi-anthropomorphic phantom

Series of inserts for QC of 4DCT, dosimetry, PET etc.

Benefits:

Dynamic image quality scoring for CT and PET

The QUATTRO respiratory motion phantom is available in two version dependent on the user’s requirements for test inserts

includes the following inserts:

Simulated tumour

Film dosimetry

Ion chamber dosimetry

TLD dosimetry

Fillable PET sphere

QUATTRO ESSENTIAL includes:

Simulated tumour

SedentexCT IQ

SedentexCTIQ consists of a PMMA cylinder (160 mm diameter) with recesses to house test inserts (fig. 1). Within the body of the cylinder are features for the following tests:

Noise/Uniformity The lower section of the phantom is uniform PMMA (density 1.20 +/- 1.00%)

Geometric Distortion An array of 2.0 mm diameter, 3.0 mm deep Air gaps are uniformally pitched at 10.0mm intervals through one slice of the cylinder

Test Inserts are included to perform the following measurements:

Spatial Resolution

Line Spread Function (LSF) – PMMA/PTFE interface (fig. 2)

Point Spread Function (PSF) – 0.25mm diameter stainless steel wire suspended in air (fig. 3)

LP/mm – alternating Aluminium/polymer (XY) (1.0, 1.7, 2.0, 2.5, 2.8, 4.0 and 5.0 LP/mm) (fig. 4)

LP/mm – alternating Aluminium/polymer (Z) (1.0, 1.7, 2.0, 2.5, 2.8, 4.0 and 5.0 LP/mm) (fig. 5)

CTDI Holder

Holder for Leeds Test Objects’ TO CTDI & TO CTDI plus phantoms, which enables hanging of the TO CTDI off the edge of its carry case. The holder has been carefully designed to allow for suspension of the phantom over the couch end, ensuring balance and rigidity.

Please note: This accessory requires screw holes in the CTDI phantom to fasten to the holder – please mention if this is required at the time of order. Modification of existing phantoms is available upon request.
